Collection 1: a sampler of Deep Pink Spring Designs
This first collection has the deep vibrant tones of hyacinth, phlox, intense pink tulips, pink wisteria. For contrast there is a touch of black and gray stone, aged gray bark, a sprinkling of snow, and a hint of soft gold primrose. The offsite page will take you to the full collection at Spoonflower where the design is shown and you can then choose fabric, wallpaper, or gift wrap.
The sampler above shows cut outs of the various designs in the Deep Pink collection. When we first put it together we were thinking about giving a quilter an idea of how the designs work together, but it is equally useful for ideas for your home decor or fashion projects.
This gorgeous pink phlox blooms in a neighbor's front yard. What a welcome sight every spring!
Did you know that all of these designs can be used with the cut and sew at Spout Patterns. The lovely top above is the Gingezel Intense Pink Pixel Geometric on the Dreamer Top at Sprout Patterns. This very attractive pattern is by See Kate Sew. Image courtesy of Sprout Patterns.
We love this Bright Pink Stripe as a wallpaper. It seems perfect for brightening up a dark bathroom, as a splash of color in a breakfast nook, or for a child's room ... or a very pink bedroom.
This stack of fabric has scilla circles as the top fabric, then a pink check. In the middle is the PInk Spiral tiled design, then the contemporary Pink Urban Grid. Below is another scilla inspired design, and the stack is resting on a simple pink windowpane design.
This Blossoming Crabapple tree watercolor by Don captures the mood perfectly, and also includes the shades of the other pink collections!
Scilla Circles in pink is lovely generative art that resulted in a pattern that looks like a cluster of scilla flowers. The test print was done on quilting weight cotton.
Deep Pink Check is printed on quilting weight cotton. Check designs are always popular, and this one is made contemporary by a pixellated effect.
We tend to not mention the lovely gift wrap available through Spoonflower although we use it a lot ourselves. So here is a 3D simulation of a parcel.
Scilla Geometric in pink is another generative art design that looks like a cluster of scilla flowers.
The intricate Pink Spiral Tile is shown here as wallpaper. The result is a room that is feminine, pretty, fresh.
Pink Spiral Tile design is used here for fabric . It was printed on quilting weight cotton, and the result is less vibrant than the wallpaper shows. These kinds of variations are why swatching is important!
The Deep Pink Windowpane is a classic. It is printed on quilting weight fabric.
The Pink Urban Grid design is very contemporary. It is generative art showing a stylized view of a city from above. The design is printed on quilting weight cotton.
Every effort has been made to accurately show the designs, but monitors vary and each fabric prints differently. Please consider swatching.
